Amina of Zazzau Heritage Tee
Queen. Warrior. Builder of Walls.
$40.00
Queen Amina of Zazzau was a 16th century warrior queen who expanded the Hausa city state of Zazzau into one of the largest domains in West Africa. She led her armies from the front, conquered territory that stretched across what is now northern Nigeria, and fortified every city she claimed with massive earthen walls. Those walls still stand five hundred years later.
This heritage tee honors her legacy with a bold, detailed portrait featuring Amina in her warrior regalia, surrounded by a golden mandala and crossed spears. The front design captures her strength, beauty, and royal authority. The back features a second portrait of Amina looking over her shoulder, spear in hand, as if guarding everything she built.
Amina never married. She never bent. She chose power on her own terms and built something that outlasted empires.
When you wear this tee, you carry the spirit of a queen who proved that sovereignty is not given. It is built.
