King Mansa Musa Youth Tee
Rich in Gold. Richer in Knowledge
$39.99
Long before skyscrapers and stock markets, one African king was so wealthy that the world still talks about him seven centuries later.
Mansa Musa ruled the Mali Empire from around 1312 to 1337, a kingdom rich in gold, salt, and trade that stretched across West Africa. In 1324, he traveled thousands of miles on pilgrimage to Mecca with a caravan so grand that when he stopped in Cairo, he gave away so much gold that its value dropped for years. Historians often call him one of the wealthiest people who ever lived.
But Mansa Musa knew true wealth was more than gold. He brought scholars, architects, and books back to Mali and helped build the Djinguereber Mosque in Timbuktu. Under his rule, Timbuktu grew into one of the world’s great centers of learning, where students came to study science, math, and history.
The Mansa Musa Youth Tee teaches young royals that their ancestors built empires of wealth and wisdom. It’s a reminder that knowledge is the gold that lasts forever.
